Greg comes to Inside Out Building Inspection with a Master of Arts in Teaching, extensive volunteer work, and over 16 years of construction experience. He brings two powerful skill sets to your home inspection: the ability to empower people to make important decisions in their lives, and the developed eye for details as a home remodeler, cabinet and furniture maker.
Teaching called to Greg at an early age when he discovered that knowledge, literature, critical thinking and writing were tools that enabled people to influence and determine their future. However, the confines of the classroom could not contain him. Greg went on to develop a beekeeping class at a local high school and started working with the Sawhorse Revolution, an afterschool construction program. He felt that tasking students with the reality of taking care of bees or building a structure was especially powerful; particularly when their knowledge was asked to inform their experience.
Greg is an avid photographer and won an award for his writing during his master’s program. According to Greg “inspecting a home is a physical, emotional, intellectual activity. I love that I get to put all of me into something, and taking photos and writing reports just makes it a natural fit.”
Since starting with Inside Out Building Inspection in February of 2016, one of the greatest compliments we repeatedly receive about Greg’s work is his attention to detail and thoroughness of his reports.
