Company History

Inside Out has been part of Western Washington's residential construction community since 2002. What began as a home inspection practice has evolved into a construction consulting firm grounded in more than two decades of hands-on field experience — spanning inspections, energy efficiency program management, multi-family housing development, construction product development, and multi-jurisdictional code compliance.

Owner Reis Pearson brings a rare depth of technical knowledge to every project. His background includes directing the full-cycle development of panelized housing systems, managing capital improvement programs for affordable housing portfolios, leading preconstruction coordination with contractors and designers, and navigating building code compliance across Washington State and beyond. An Associate Member of the Association of Energy Engineers and a lifelong student of building science, Reis combines deep field experience with a commitment to staying at the leading edge of construction practice and code development.

Inside Out now offers plan review, onsite QC/QA verification, value engineering analysis, and owner's representative project management for residential remodel and new construction projects across the Pacific Northwest — bringing the same precision and accountability to consulting that defined the company from day one.
